PPB COUNTAC is packaged type of packed bed demineralizer applying counter current regeneration method. As the packed bed system has less free board which allows only the volume change of the resin bed between exhausted and regenerated form, there is no disturbance in the resin bed and ion exchange band is kept firmly. Then ideal counter current regeneration system can be achieved. |

Shortening the regeneration time at half of the existing plant |
| As monosphere beads of ion exchange resin which gives not only high reaction
rate but also good rinse characteristics, the regeneration time is reduced at
half of the existing plant ( about 50 minutes ). Special resin bed supporting material the most suitable for the packed bed system is filled. |

Reducing the operating cost at half of the existing plant |
| There occurs a lot of loss when the plant is regenerated by constant predetermined
quantity of the service run while the regenerated form remains. If ABC ( Anion-Break-Combined
) detecting system is adopted at your option, the regenerated form in the resin
bed can be utilized completely. This ABC system in addition to high chemical efficiency saves the operating cost extremely. |

Reducing the waste water at half of the existing plant |
| As it requires no blocking water to keep the resin bed fixedly during upwards
regeneration and concentrated chemical can be used, the waste water volume is
reduced at half of the existing plant. It contributes to reduce the environmental loads. |

Downwards service allowing ON-OFF operation |
| Our system does not affect the quality and the quantity of the product, even
if it is operated on and off. Residual ion is kept at sub ppb level without polishing unit. As there is no need of water circulation in the system which upwards service system requires to keep the bed fixedly during stand by status, the electricity cost can be saved. |

All in one - Complete packaged design |
| As all the necessary equipment , piping, wiring and instrumentation is mounted on a skid at the factory, the installation work at site will be finished by setting the degasifier to the skid. |
